This barn conversion has the living quarters upstairs to take advantage of the spectacular views.  The chosen scheme was very informal and relaxed, suitable for a family who enjoy entertaining.  The huge expanse of glass proved a window dressing challenge but, using simple double pleats on smooth gliding tracks the final look was fantastic.

Simply divine!

Stage 1 - Getting the correct pole angle           Stage 2 - Dressing 23 metres of fabric!

This house based in Shottery, had an extension to the rear of the building.  The result means amazing views from these stunning windows.  The brief was to provide a complete 'working' blackout solution.

The result:-

Using Harlequin Commercial Extreme fabric, stainless steel poles, pulleys and cord the swags are created by pulling the side cords thus allowing the curtain to be opened and closed into the desired position.

NB. The window measures 3.3 metres at its highest point.

Tiddington Road, Stratford-upon-Avon

A beautiful period home situated along the Tiddington Road required 'something special' for the Master Bedroom. The Interior design service produced a board showing  a 'warm' or 'cool' colour choice. Once the theme had been chosen the rest was easy.

Before the make-over:

Using a Prestigious fabric the wide window was dressed using a pelmet, dress curtains and inner recess working curtains.

The pelmet consisted of three individual pieces which continued the pattern repeat through each; interlined, shaped  and piped, they fixed precisely into position.  The silk interlined curtains ran along a shaped inner track and could be 'hidden' once in their storage position behind the dress curtains.

The window treatment was accompanied by a 'bed scarf' made from silk inlaid with a run of piped Prestigious fabric and 3 double sided scatter cushions.

After the make-over:

Accompanied by a Caramel carpet and Crown's 'Soft Truffle' on the main headboard wall, this scheme was a complete success.

A period house in the centre of Bidford had its Master bedroom converted into a peaceful haven for a restful night's sleep.  This involved the creation of a quilted bedspread which had an inlaid 'scarf' edged with co-ordinated colour fabrics.  The scatter cushions echoed the same design in miniature.  The curtains were made-up into double pinch pleats and finished with co-ordinated buttons.  Two chairs and an ottoman were upholstered in a striped fabric, a new gold carpet, lilac walls and lighting were all added to complete the final scheme!

This vaulted ceiling lounge required something special and rustic.  With Karndean on the floor and overhead wooden beams the Villa Nova Bloom was teamed with a co-ordinated textured plain fabric, separated using rustic rope cord.  The curtains were hung onto corded wood poles with rustic brass finials.

The sofa and chairs were all re-upholstered using a flame retardant self-patterned fabric to co-ordinate with the floor and wall colour.  The Bloom fabric lent itself beautifully to the cushion design which finished the overall look.
